The National Dairy Council provides educators, parents and school nutrition professionals with tools for making wellness a reality.  Included are resources of nutrition facts, lesson plans, interactive links and teaching ideas.

The USDA Food and Nutrition Service provides resources to improve eating and physical activity habits.  Included are links to MyPyramid, Healthy Meals Resource System, Training Grants and a listing of available resources for K-12 schools.

The USDA provides this interactive tracker to assist the user with an assessment of food intake and physical activity levels.  Guidelines for nutrition and physical activity choices are referenced, as well as steps to a healthier weight.  Targeted for the elementary teacher, related topics include MyPyramid Blast Off Game, free downloadable posters, coloring pages and worksheets.

The Dairy Council of Florida in conjunction with the Dairy Farmers Incorporated provide educators with curriculum and promotional materials targeting healthy kids.  Free reproducible materials include posters and brochures.  In addition, the Midwest Dairy Council provides a printable poster, “Say Yes” in Spanish.
